Sophia turned 5 months old yesterday (how can that be?) She is just as easygoing as she was when she was 5 DAYS old. Sophia absolutely LOVES her sister and brother. They can successfully keep her entertained for a little over an hour (so I can do fun things like start the laundry, straighten up the house, etc.) She likes her tummy time and tries with all her might to scoot closer to Maggie and Jake as they're playing. When she's tired of tummy time, she simply rolls on over to tell me she's done. Sophia is eating rice cereal once a day and vegetables once a day and lovin' it. The only vegetable that doesn't agree with her is carrots (which also didn't agree with Maggie).
We also celebrated Uncle Rick and JoAnn's August birthdays last night. We went over to my parent's house for some brats and sausages to hang out with aunts and uncles. We've been practicing our "school day wake-up time", which is 5:00am, all week. We don't want it to be too much of a shocker to the kiddos. As you can see, Jake passed out the second he sat down. Maybe he'll start napping again? That would be nice :)
