PUMPKIN FEST

Can you believe I'm still trying to catch up on Halloween festivities? I think this is the last one. Matt's family has Pumpkin Fest every year. The weekend before Halloween the whole family gets together to carve pumpkins and eat LOTS of good food. Jake wasn't too into the carving, he just liked to play with the "guts". Maggie, on the other hand, was "way too grossed out by the ooziness" but loved drawing the face. So, the boys had the job of cleaning the pumpkin and the girls took care of the creative decorating and carving. Since it ended up being more of a team effort, the 5 of us carved one pumpkin.
