THE POLAR EXPRESS

Right before Christmas, my mom and I took Maggie and Jake on "The Polar Express". We made sure to watch the movie the night before our adventure. When we got to the train station, we were able to walk through the old train station, visit with both Santa and his reindeer, and have some homemade gingerbread cookies. We then boarded the train that took us to Union Station. The entire ride was filled with singing carols, playing games, meeting various characters (Cinderella, Belle, the Scrooge, etc.). When we got to Union Station, the conductor read the story to us and then we headed back. It was a GREAT time, I definitely would consider doing this again next year (maybe even with Sophia).
