Our family went downtown last weekend with Aunt Lisa, Grandma, and Grandpa to go visit Aunt Tine at the Green City Market. Aunt Tine is an organic chef who is committed to using only local, seasonal, and sustainable foods. She opened her own catering business (Sunday Dinner Club) a few years back and has been busy, busy, busy since then. Maggie was even able to get a "sneak peak" and go back by the cooks. We enjoyed some fresh smoothies and burgers before heading out the the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Our first stop at the zoo just HAD to be the giraffes (Maggie's favorite). Jake's favorite was watching a cow get washed (the "Cow Car Wash"). Sophia just liked running around like a crazy baby. We were able to see most of the zoo before Sophia's nap.
