LUCK O' THE IRISH!

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day last Saturday as opposed to today. It was a jam packed day that started off marching in the Elmhurst St. Patrick's Day Parade. We've been marching with Buttons and Bows Preschool for the past three years. Thanks to all the family and friends who came out to watch!

Afterwards we headed to Portillo's to warm up and fill up our bellies! Sophia just LOVED the french fries. I think her and Jake are going to have to fight over who gets more...(they wouldn't even take their eyes off the french fries to take a picture)

Sophia is getting closer and closer to walking so we went to Yorktown to pick her up her first pair of Stride Rites. My grandma and mom swear by these shoes, so the kids first pair of shoes are always Stride Rites. They think if the kids don't wear these shoes when hey learn to walk "they will ruin their feet".

At night, we went to Fox's for our annual John Dillon concert. The kids danced, sang, got their faces painted, and each found themselves a "date" for the night.
