ARKANSAS

The Resort

We stayed at Crown Point Resort in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. It was a nine-hour drive down, which wasn't too bad. Both Maggie and Jake either slept or entertained themselves. Sophia was a little more antsy, wanting to get out of her carseat and play outside. The resort was in a pretty desolate area, but had enough entertainment and food that we pretty much stayed there most of the trip.

The Beach

This is actually where we spent most of our time. The kids loved being in the lake. We found out that Sophia hates the feeling of sand, so she would dart for the water as soon as we put her down on the beach.

The Botheel Youth Museum

The kids ran around and had a ball at this museum. We were one of the few families there so the kids thought (and acted like) they owned the place. Sophia loved crawling through all the tunnels, Jake loved the fake grocery store, and Maggie loved all the playhouses.
